Day 1 arrive Colombo  |

Arrive Colombo by international flight. After clearing immigration and
customs formalities you are met by a representative from First Tours and
transferred to the hotel.

Day 2 Colombo / Habarana  |
 |

 |
Today visit the Buddhist Temples, Town Hall, the Museum and the Convention
Center. Also visit the spectacular Zoological Gardens in the seaside resort
of Mount Lavinia. In the afternoon drive 2 hours to Habarana and check-in
to the Lodge, a scenic hotel set in 10 hectares of lush woodland that abounds
on the fringe of an ancient irrigation lake. The lodge architecture is
based on Ritigala, the pre Christian era forest monastery near Habarana
in which the Lodge is situated. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 Habarana / Anuradhapura / Habarana  |

Morning visit the ancient capital of Anuradhapura. Founded in the 5th-century
BC, it is a potent symbol of Sinhalese power and the most important ancient
cities of Sri Lanka. Sightseeing includes visit to the Thapurama Dagoba,
the hemispherical shrine that houses collarbone of the Buddha. Also visit
the 2000-year-old sacred Bo Tree, a sapling of the tree that sheltered
Buddha at his enlightenment, the Rock Temple, the Ancient Royal Palace
and the Queen's Pavilion.

Day 4 Habarana / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya / Habarana |

Early morning drive to Polonnaruwa, the 12th century city built by King
Parakramabaju. Sightseeing includes visit to the magnificent stone ruins
of the Audience Hall and Council Chamber, the Vatadage and Lankatilaka.
After possible lunch en route drive to Sigiriya to explore the 5th century
Rock Fortress of King Kasyapa and a treasure of rate art. In a pocket of
the giant rock are the famous frescoes of the "Heavenly Maidens of
Sigiriya" - remnants of an enormous gallery, which once contained
500 frescoes. Later return drive to Habarana.

Day 5 Habarana / Dambulla / Matale / Kandy  |

After breakfast drive to Kandy, the laid back capital of the hill country
and the historical bastion of Buddhist power, is built around a peaceful
lake and set in a picturesque bowl of hills. En route visit the spice gardens
in Matale and rock-cut cave temples in Dambulla. Arrive Kandy and check-in
to the hotel with rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6 Kandy  |

Today visit the Dalada Maligawa (the Temple of the Tooth) that houses
the sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha and the National Museum. In the evening
enjoy the dance performance of Kandyan dancers.

Day 7 Kandy / Pinnawala / Kandy  |

After an early breakfast leave for Kegalle to visit Pinnawala Elephant
Orphanage and witness the bathing of elephant in the nearby river. Continue
drive to Peradeniya to visit Botanical Gardens that houses rare collection
of tropical exotic and indigenous flora. In the afternoon drive along the
Upper Lake road to get a panoramic view of the Kandy Lake and explore some
of the colorful markets of Kandy.

Day 8 Kandy / Galle  |

After breakfast commence your journey to Galle. The port of Galle, thought
by some to be the biblical city of Tarshish, splendidly illustrates the
solidity of the Dutch presence in Sri Lanka. This afternoon sightseeing
includes a visit the Dutch Fort and city tour of Galle. The 1636 Dutch
Fort and its massive ramparts form the older part of Galle and shelters
within its walls sturdy Dutch houses, museums and churches.

Day 9 Galle / Colombo  |

| Morning is at leisure. In the afternoon drive to Colombo. En route visit
a Turtle Hatchery at Beruwela and a Mask factory at Ambalangoda. After
dinner proceed to the airport in time for international flight. |

Today depart Colombo with colorful memories that will add untold pleasure to last for a lifetime.
