Day 15 Thimphu / Punakha
Today visit Thimphu National Library that has a vast collection of ancient Buddhist texts, manuscripts, modern academic books and printing blocks for prayer flags. Also visit the Painting School famous for traditional paintings and the Traditional Medicine Institute - the rich herbal medicines abundant in Bhutan are prepared here. In the afternoon drive 45 miles to Punakha. En route stop at Dochu-la pass to take in the view and admire the chorten, mani wall, and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road.

Day 16 Punakha / Wangdiphodrang / Paro
Morning visit Punakha Dzong, the 17th century fortress built strategically at the confluence of two rivers Pho Chu and Mo Chu. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan until 1955 and still serves as the winter residence of the monk body. Continue your journey visiting en route Wangdiphodrang Dzong situated on the top of the hill at the confluence of Punakha Chu and Tang Chu rivers. After lunch drive to Paro. En route visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the kingdom that now houses the school for Buddhist studies.

Day 17 Paro
Morning visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum that houses a fascinating collection of art, relics, religious thangkha paintings and Bhutan’s exquisite postage stamps. Walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong. Built in 1646 this monastery is known as "fortress of heap of jewels". In the afternoon drive to Drukgyel Dzong. This monastery was built in 1647 to commemorate Bhutanese victory over the Tibetan in the war of 1644. Later visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of Bhutan. In the evening visit a traditional Bhutanese Farm House that a good glimpse into the lifestyle of a local farmer.

Day 18 Paro / Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport in time for Druk Air flight KB 202 Paro / Kathmandu (0715/0800). After completing immigration and customs formalities at Kathmandu airport you are met and transferred to the hotel. This afternoon tour of Kathmandu includes visit to Kathmandu Darbar Square, the Royal Palace, innumerable temples and shrines, catch a glimpse of the "living goddess" and Swayambunath, one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal.

Day 19 Kathmandu
Today visit Bhaktapur, the city of worshippers. Sightseeing includes visit to the Lion Gate, the Picture Gallery, the Golden Gate and the Palace of fifty five windows. Continue drive through beautiful Himalayan countryside to Dhulikhel Mountain Resort for lunch. Return to Kathmandu en route visiting Patan, the city of arts and architecture founded in 250 AD. Sightseeing includes visit to the Durbar Square, Royal Baths, Mahaboudha, Krishna Temple and the Golden Temple. Also visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp at Jawalakhel to watch carpet weaving.

Day 20 Kathmandu / Delhi
Early this morning, weather permitting, enjoy an unforgettable pleasure of flying alongside the highest mountain peaks of the Himalayan chain. Among the many stands Mt. Everest, at 29,028 feet the highest mountain on Earth. Later transfer to the airport in time for Jet Airways flight 9W 261 Kathmandu / Delhi (1415/1545). After clearing immigration and customs formalities you are met and transferred to the hotel located close to the airport.

Today depart Delhi with colorful memories that will add untold pleasure to last for a lifetime.
