| After breakfast enjoy an hour's boat ride to the tranquil forested island
of Elephanta, one of the most atmospheric places in Bombay. The chief attraction
of the island is its unique cave temple whose Shiva sculpture is a fine
example of Hindu architecture. In the afternoon visit Jehangir Art Gallery
and the Prince of Wales Museum, Victoria Terminus, Hanging Gardens, Jain
Temple and Mani Bhavan – Gandhi's Bombay base between 1917 & 1934,
