Day 13 Jaipur / Chhatra Sagar
In the morning drive 145 miles to Chhatra Sagar. Surrounded by lush green fields and vast grazing pastures Chhatra Sagar, the hundred-year old reservoir, was a hunting preserve of the Nimaj Estate. Arrive Chhatar Sagar and check-in to the tastefully designed and well-appointed tented accommodation with fully equipped rooms, attached bath with hot and cold water and private sit out overlooking the lake. Afternoon is at leisure. In the evening experience the warm hospitality and delicious Rajasthani food cooked with farm fresh vegetables in the family kitchen.

Day 14 Chhatra Sagar / Jodhpur
Today enjoy a jeep safari to the Seervi & Gujjar settlements. After lunch drive 60 miles in 2 hours to Jodhpur. Arrive Jodhpur and check-in to Umaid Bhawan Palace, the world’s largest Art-Deco style private residence of the Jodhpur royal family. Afternoon is at leisure. You may wish to visit the museum at Umaid Bhawan Palace and enjoy a guided tour of the palace.

Day 15 Jodhpur
Umaid BhawanIn the morning sightseeing of Jodhpur visit Meherangarh Fort, the most authentic surviving taste of ceaseless rounds of war, honor and extravagance that characterized Rajputana. Also visit Jaswant Thada, the royal cremation ground of the former rulers of Jodhpur and the medieval markets selling textiles, antiques and spices. In the afternoon drive to Rohet to enjoy a jeep safari to the Bishnoi villages where you will meet with tribesmen dedicated to the preservation of their natural habitat and social customs. Return to Jodhpur in the evening.

Day 16 Jodhpur / Ranakpur / Udaipur
Taj LakeAfter breakfast drive 200 miles in 6 hours to Udaipur. En route stop at the secluded Jain temple complex at Ranakpur and visit the famous Adinath temple. It is a beautifully crafted marble edifice with 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars – no two of which are alike. Inspired by a dream of a celestial vehicle, Dharna Shah is said to have commissioned the temple construction, under the auspices and patronage of Rana Kumbha, the ruler of Mewr kingdom. After lunch at Maharani Bagh Orchard Retreat continue drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur and check-in to Lake Palace, the summer residence of the Royal family in 1628 and now a spectacular hotel

Day 17 Udaipur
Taj LakeSet around the shimmering Pichola Lake and dominated by dramatic palaces, Udaipur's alleys and narrow streets lend it an almost medieval charm. Morning visit Udaipur's fascinating City Palace, molded in soft yellow stone, its windowless base crowned with ornate turrets and canopies. Part of the Palace is now a museum with its marble and granite walls laden with brilliant miniature paintings and decorated with colored glass and mirrors. Continue to the Garden of the Maids of Honor and a panoramic drive around the lake area. In the evening enjoy sunset cruise on Lake Pichola.

Day 18 Udaipur / Bombay
In the morning drive 15 miles north of Udaipur to the Eklingji temple complex. This beautifully sculpted temple complex with 108 temples within its high walls was built by the Sesodia dynasty of Mewar in honor of their presiding deity Eklingji, a form of Lord Shiva. The Main temple dates to the 15th century is made of marble and granite and has an enormous double-storied, elaborately-pillared hall under a vast pyramidal roof with a four-faced image of Lord Shiva in black marble. In the evening transfer to the airport in time for Jet Airways flight 9W 3406 Udaipur / Bombay (1925/2110). Arrive Bombay and transfer to the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower located by the sea face adjoining the Indo-Saracenic Gateway of India.
