Day 7 Khajuraho / Orchha / Jhansi / Agra
After breakfast drive 110 miles in 3 hours to Orchha, the former capital of the Bundela dynasty. After lunch at Orchha Resort visit the medieval fort and palaces built at the height of Bundela power and walk around the Royal Chhatris, the 14 cenotaphs, memorials to the former rulers of Bundelkhand at Orchha. After sightseeing proceed to Jhansi railway station in time for air-conditioned express train 2001 Shatabdi Express Jhansi / Agra (1755/2035). Arrive Agra and transfer to the Oberoi Amarvilas, a resort located just 500 meters from the world famous monument of love - the Taj Mahal. The elaborate gardens, reflection pools and pavilions compliment the classic architecture of the hotel.

Day 8 Agra
Early morning you may wish to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. After breakfast visit Agra Fort situated on the banks of river Yamuna River. This imposing structure of palaces, mosques and audience halls contained within its massive walls was founded by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565. Late afternoon visit the Taj Mahal at sunset when the monument appears to change its hue, tinted by the glow of the setting sun. In the memory of his wife, the great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built this most extravagant and incomparable monument of love.

Day 9 Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Ranthambhor
Fatehpur SikriAfter breakfast drive to Fatehpur Sikri, a masterpiece in sandstone with the stunning elegance of its palaces and courts. Built by Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1571 and 1585. We suggest lunch at Laxmi Vilas Palace in Bharatpur, en route to Ranthambhor. Continue drive to Ranthambhor and check-in to the Oberoi Vanyavilas, a luxury jungle resort located near the Ranthambhor National Park and set in 20 acres of orchards and flowering trees.

Day 10 Ranthambhor
Early morning and late afternoon enjoy wildlife safari to the park for game viewing. Ranthambhor is home to the tiger, chital, nilgai, jackals, jungle cat and a wide selection of birds like crested serpent eagle, paradise flycatchers and the more common painted stock. The tenth century Ranthambhor fort and quaint pavilions, palaces and chhatris give the hill-fringed sanctuary a unique charm. Day 11 Ranthambhor / Jaipur
Early morning enjoy another wildlife safari. After breakfast drive 3 hours through scenic countryside to Jaipur, the flamboyant capital of the state of Rajasthan. Arrive Jaipur and check-in to the Rambagh Palace, former residence of the Royal family of Jaipur and now a spectacular hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. You may wish to explore the colorful markets of Jaipur which are famous for gold and silver jewelry and gem stones particularly emeralds, rubies, sapphires and diamonds.

Day 12 Jaipur
This morning drive 7 miles north of Jaipur to visit Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the Rajputs from 1037 until 1728. After ascending the fort on elephant back, visit Amber's magnificent palaces. In the afternoon tour the Pink City of Jaipur visiting the Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of the Winds.
