Day 7 Bijapur / Pattadakal / Aihole / Badami After breakfast drive 2 hours to Pattadakal, the second capital of the Chalukyas, used mainly for coronations of the kings. Sightseeing includes visit to the Virupaksha temple, the Mallikarjuna temples and the Jain temple. Later drive to Aihole, the first Chalukya capital that houses over 125 temples, all intricately carved and rich in detail. Sightseeing includes visit to Durgigudi temple, Lad Khan temple, Ravanaphadigudi temple and the Jain Meguti temple. After sightseeing proceed to Badami and check-in to the hotel. (Hotel Badami Court)   Day 8 Badami Situated picturesquely at the mouth of a sandstone ravine Badami was the capital city of the early Chalukyas. This area is a treasure house of architecture and sculpture that provided the blueprints for the temples that were built later all over South India. In the morning visit Mahakuta temple complex, described as a gem containing examples of Chalukyan temple architecture that houses about 24 shrines dedicated to Lord Siva. Day 9 Badami / Goa

Today drive 120 mils to Goa and check-in to Taj Exotica, a graceful oasis of luxury and tranquility. The hotel is a beach resort with 56 acres of lush greenery and virgin beaches. Morning visit Velha Goa (Old Goa), the erstwhile capital of Goa. At one time a byword for splendour, with a population of several hundred thousand, this impressive ghost city of Old Goa has been granted World Heritage status for its extraordinary grandiose churches and convents. Day 12 Goa / Bombay

The day is at leisure until transfer to the airport in time for Jet Airways flight 9W 474 Goa / Bombay (1615/1715). Arrive Bombay and transfer to the hotel located close to the airport. (Taj Lands End)
