Day 7 Gangtey / Punakha
Morning is available to explore Gangtey village and the monastery further. In the afternoon drive 3 hours to Punakha. En route you visit Wangduephodrang, the last town in the west before arriving at the central region of Bhutan. The town’s formidable Dzong is its most visible feature. In the 17th century Wangdue played a critical role in unifying the western, central and southern Bhutanese districts. Arrive Punakha and check-in to Amankora.

Day 8 Punakha
Today visit Punakha Dzong, a massive structure built at the confluence of two rivers. Punakha was Bhutan’s capital until 1955, and Punakha Dzong still serves as the winter residence of the central monk body. Bhutan’s first King, Ugyen Wangchuck, was crowned here in 1907. The fortress has withstood several damages from fire, earthquake and flood over the centuries. The latest flood, in October, 1994, caused great damages to the fortress but miraculously spared its most holy statue. In the afternoon visit Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, the newly built stupa.

Day 9 Punakha / Paro
After breakfast proceed to Paro. En route visit a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse which offers good insight into lifestyle of local people and their culture. Arrive Paro and check-in to the hotel. In the evening enjoy a visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom.

Day 10 Paro
Today's full day sightseeing in Paro valley includes, visit to Ta Dzong, the National Museum which in the past served as watch tower for the Paro Dzong. In the afternoon take an excursion to Taktsang Monastery, the most famous of Bhutanese monasteries. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery hence it is called “Tiger’s Nest”.

Day 11 Paro
Early morning enjoy an excursion to the exotic Haa Valley. Haa is western-most valley in Bhutan bordering on the Tibet region of China. The valley is traversed by the Haa Chhu (river) and its characteristic features are the three almost conical shaped hillocks considered to be holy by the local people - the first hillock is dedicated to Ap Chhundu, the supreme local protective deity of Haa. The Haa valley opened to tourism only in year 2002.

Day 12 Paro / Delhi
Transfer to the airport in time for Druk Air flight KB 202 Paro / Delhi (0730/1050). Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel located close to the airport.

Today depart Delhi with colorful memories that will add untold pleasure to last for a lifetime.
